Hey everyone. Thank you all for your patience regarding the book. I am pleased to inform you all that the book is pretty much complete. I am waiting on a handful of backers to finish the items they are creating so I can add them to the book and my artists are finishing up a few more pieces. Then the book will be sent to the proof readers to make sure everything is as it should be. The PDFs WILL be sent out before the end of the month. 

Regarding the physical copies, I am still having issues with the banks and the fraud claims, most of them have been closed on my end and I just refunded the claims and cancelled the orders associated with those orders. 4 are still open as I had already submitted evidence so I am waiting for those to be closed. However, to make sure we stay on track I am paying for the books to be printed and sent to me using my personal finances as opposed to the business account. I will just have to sort that out when the banks have cleared everything.  The physical copies will be sent out in January if the printers stick to the timeline they gave me, so apologies for shipping a month later than originally planned, but when I launched back in April I don't think anyone expected this virus to cause as much chaos globally as it has. (Also, based on some of the campaigns I have backed in the past, 1 month is above average haha).

Finally, with so many of us being contained and locked away (we in the UK are about to enter a second Lockdown period) more and more people have been playing virtually using services such as roll20, fantasy grounds and discord.   As a result, one of my artists has been working on a side project of creating some maps for use on these services. So once the digital copies have been sent out we will be launching a small campaign for a bundle of map packs for virtual tabletops. The collection will include 50 different unique maps, covering lots of different types of terrain so there should be something for everyone there. Every map will come in 2 versions, gridded and gridless depending on what you prefer. So 100 total files for use digitally or you can even print them out. Here are a few examples. 

The price of the campaign will be £10 for 50 maps (100 files) so just 20p per map. For some it may be helpful, for others not so much. My artist just wanted to put these out for those who might be interested and I didn't want to launch the campaign until at least the digital copies had been sent out as I didn't think it was fair to you all.

Hi guys. Just wanted to give you an update about something very annoying. I was contacted today by my bank and told that they have received several fraudulent charge claims against the kickstarter campaign and backer kit charges. Due to them receiving several of them they have frozen my account until these matters are resolved. Which would mean I cannot pay to get the books printed until this is resolved. 

I have contacted the backers who have filed these claims in the hope to resolve the issues quickly so we can proceed as originally planned. I have also submitted evidence to the backers banks to prove the charges are all legit and above board. However, once I submitted the evidence it said it can take 3 month to resolve. So hopefully things are sorted quickly by the banks in question so my bank account can be unfrozen, then I can pay for the books to be printed. 

I believe if the backers making the claims get in touch with their banks to explain the situation, along with my evidence that I have submitted, there should be no reason for this to take more than a few days. 

Either way, I will keep you all notified about how this progresses.

Hello everyone. I hope you're all doing well, keeping safe and staying strong. I think I speak for everyone when I say this pandemic has grown into something much larger than we first expected. It has been a trying time for many on their  physical, emotional and mental health. So I hope you are all staying strong.

 A somewhat positive update today will hopefully lift your spirits if I can. Since I have been getting quite a few messages in the last week or so regarding timelines and shipping methods etc I thought an update would be better suited. 

The original expected delivery of digital versions of the book was November, this is still the case. Anyone who has a digital copy as part of their pledge will get this next month, these will be sent when the books have been ordered to print. The printed copies will be sent out a little later, I am hoping they will still be sent out in December as originally planned. I will have the books before Christmas, but the cards may take a little longer. I am not 100% sure as of now, I may have them in time and I sincerely hope I do. 

Some of you may be getting a message from me in the next day or two. I am almost finished with the backer created items (this is taking a little longer than planned due to revisions we have been making), if you haven't heard from me yet regarding your item, it is either perfect and needs no revisions, or you are part of the 15% or so I haven't gotten to yet. Additionally, there are a handful of people who have not filled in their backerkit surveys, without this I cannot ship your books to you! So get them filled in. I will be messaging you via kickstarter soon since backerkit emails seem to be going unread. Also, if anyone needs to update their addresses, you can do so in backerkit anytime you like before I ship the books. 

This campaign far exceeded all expectations I had and with the stretch goals the book has almost doubled in size! I want to make sure the product is perfect before sending it out to you all. It is the least you all deserve for changing my life for the better.

Hi everyone, Just a small one for you today.

I have had a few people message me letting me know their bank declined the backer kit charge today due to unrecognised source of charge. Just to let you all know, if you see a charge under the name "Greedy mimic games" "Greedy mimic" "Mimic" "GMGLTD" Etc, it is the backer kit trying to take payment for your addons.

Hi everyone. First of all I want to extend my thanks to everyone who wished me well, it means a lot to me that we have such a wonderful community here. I was worried when I posted last week there may be some toxic responses. I'm glad no one posted those thoughts if they had them.  I am feeling more like my usual self but still having some respiratory issues.

Next up, the surveys are being locked in 4 days. There are still 400 people who have not completed their surveys including 11 people who have pledged to create their own items. If you don't complete your survey in the next 4 days, you will not be able to select the cards you get included with your pledge, these will be randomly assigned to you. This cut off date is so I know quantities for manufacturing. I will be able to contact you later to get your item descriptions for the book, but the reason for the lock date is for manufacturing quantities so please answer your surveys if you haven't yet.
